Get to know me

Hi! I’m Jess, mum to two boys and a total birth nerd.

When I’m not working or with the kids you will probably find me knitting or planning the next bit of DIY I want to get started on in our home. I love where we live, we’re so lucky to have the New Forest and the coast so close by.

I had my first baby in 2020 and whilst our birth wasn’t as smooth as I would have hoped for, I vividly remember feeling like a rockstar after giving birth. We had our second baby in 2025 and my experiences second time around have only increased my passion for providing safe and supportive antenatal and postnatal education for new parents. This is why I have created the Gather and Grow Birth Community as a local network for parents in Eastleigh, Southampton and the surrounding areas.

The moment when you share how you are finding the early days of parenthood and hear others say the same, is such a powerful feeling that brings you together. And it’s this that I want to grow with the people I work with - I want you to know that you are not alone and you have a community around you for the joyful times and the times when you need a little bit more support.

They say it takes a village and with us, you’ll find yours.
